Hydropool Aquatic vs. Executive Swim Spas

Hydropool Aquatic vs. Executive Swim Spas

Hydropool has three lines of swim spas, we’re going to focus on two of them in this article. Their Aquatic and their Executive lines. In a nutshell, the Aquatic line is the all-rounder, and the Executive is the professional swim focused line. They are both made in Mississauga, and have a lot of parts commonality, but they fill very different roles.

What Are The Key Differences?

There are many differences between the Aquatic & Executive lines, let’s go through the key ones below;

  • Each model in the Aquatic line has 4 seats, where the Executive models only have 2 seats.
  • The swim area on the Aquatic models is smaller and more obstructed than the Executive models, they have massive open swim lanes.
  • The Aquatic models are available as either a Sport or a Trainer model. The Executive models are only available as a Trainer.

What Are The Similarities?

These lines have a couple key similarities as well;

  • They both feature Self-Cleaning filtration as standard. Watch the video below to learn more about this feature.
  • They have the same available upgrade options, things like additional lights, waterfalls, and creature comforts.
  • They have the same available interior and exterior colour options.
  • They are all the same height and width, only the length changes.
  • They all have the same cover options.

What is Hydropool’s patented Self-Cleaning system?

Hydropool sells the world’s only line of Self-Cleaning swim spas, this feature is standard on all Aquatic and Executive models. They have a patent on this for swim spas, which is roughly based on how commercial pools are cleaned.

Self-cleaning swim spas have these three unique aspects:

  • A topside skimmer – Any contaminant in water will either float on the surface or sink to the bottom. A skimmer on the water’s surface removes anything floating on top.
  • A floor vacuum – The other half of contaminants in awter will sink to the bottom, it is the floor vacuums job to sucks this debris up. This eliminates the need for a separate pool vacuum.
  • Pressurized filtration – This means the water is forced through your filter under high pressure, rather than being lazily drawn through. Filtering water this way ensures the cleaning system filters the entire body of water every over 140 times per day.
